Valorant Pacific Open Will Start on Independence Day

Valorant, which is the newest competitor game from CS: GO, will soon hold its esports tournament. The Valorant Tournament, organized by Cyber Games Arena (leading esports event organizer from Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Riot Games, will be titled Valorant Pacific Open.
This tournament was attended by countries from Asia Pacific and was represented by 16 teams. Countries participating in this tournament, namely Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
The teams participating in the Valorant Pacific Open tournament consist of 10 teams that have passed the regional qualifiers and an additional 6 invited teams. The 16 participants will compete for a total prize pool of 20,000 US Dollars.
The Valorant Pacific Open Group Stage will be held from August 17th to August 19th. 16 teams have been randomly drawn into groups of four, and will battle to see who will advance to the next stage.
The players will fight it out, to determine the two teams with the best performance. The two best teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Round which will be held on August 21–23.
Last week’s team draw yielded the following results:
- Group A: MOTV, KILOISDEAD, BOOM Esports, and Attack All-Around.
- Group B: MORPH, Team LZ (UNRATED), Sharper Esport and ahq eSports Club.
- Group C: Only One Word, Superdomineering, TafZ and Adroit Esports.
- Group D: Attitudes of Thailand, Paper Rex, Team SMG, and LEGENDA.
There are two teams from Indonesia who participated in the Valorant Pacific Open tournament, namely BOOM Esports which was the invited team and MORPH which was the winner of the Indonesia qualifier.
