Entering a new normal transition, GTV stations opened the search for the first eSports star in Indonesia, through the one titled Esport Star Indonesia.
This program is a collaboration between GTV and RRQ, which is one of the professional eSports team organizations in Indonesia and Moonton as the developer and publisher of Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
GTV’s Managing Director, Valencia H. Tanoesoedibjo, said that this momentum was very appropriate for GTV to give birth to the proud Indonesian esports star.
“The Esports Star Indonesia shows will be packaged into the reality talent search genre which is entertaining and an alternative viewing for all Indonesian viewers”.
Valencia also added, Esports Star Indonesia became an extraordinary collaboration event, in which GTV had a target audience for young families. Moonton as a developer and publisher of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, played by more than 30 million gamers in Indonesia.
As for the RRQ who acts as a technical advisor who is already well known as one of the best eSports team organizations in Indonesia and Asia today.
The registration and audition process for Esport Star Indonesia is done online, through the android application namely RCTI +.
Prospective participants must fill out administrative and general knowledge tests about Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
The next stage is the 1 vs 1 match audition. The audition participant will play MLBB against one of the players from your RRQ professional team.
Those who pass all stages will take part in another selection process, which will be carried out by the GTV team itself and also RRQ.
For the contestants who have been chosen, they will undergo a quarantine process to the grand final in the Esport Star Indonesia program.
The competition between contestants is a media of selection to determine who is the best, while in terms of reality the contestants will give color to the show later.
